Angel City FC have unveiled their first ever jersey.
It is a slick, all black top featuring a subtle design spread across the front.
The faint geometric pattern represents the sun just above the horizon – symbolic for Angel City’s ‘new dawn’.
Across the centre is DoorDash; it was announced earlier in the year that they would become the club’s first sponsor.
The jersey is made by Nike with sustainable, 100% recycled polyester fibres, according to the website.

Angel City is a planned expansion of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) that will begin playing in 2022.
Announced in 2020, the club is backed by a star-studded line-up led by Natalie Portman, including Serena Williams, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Chastain and more.
As well as their Hollywood backing, the club has the support of many former United States Women’s National Team players.
Mia Hamm, Julie Foudy and Abby Wambach are just a handful of names involved.
As of right now, the only player on the roster is Christen Press.
Press previously enjoyed a short stint at English club, Manchester United, before embarking on some personal time ahead of next season.
The official unveiling is expected Wednesday 17 November.
