R&B singer Ari Lennox has accused Dutch airport security of “racially profiling” her after she was arrested for disturbing public order.
Lennox was arrested by Dutch Military Police at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport on Tuesday after she reportedly refused to calm down in an argument with staff at the airport.
Before her arrest, Lennox tweeted about the incident claiming that Amsterdam security “hate black people.”
“F*ck Amsterdam security. They hate black people,” she said. “I just want to go home. I’ll never leave my house again,” the singer tweeted shortly after.
