An aspiring rapper has been arrested after trespassing onto the property of Diddy to play him a demo tape.
According to TMZ, the hopeful musician was identified as 23-year-old Isaiah Smalls, who was arrested following the incident on Saturday.
After arriving outside Diddy’s home unannounced, Smalls allegedly attempted to gain the hip-hop icon’s attention from the security gate. When his efforts failed and he was refused entry, Smalls proceeded to jump the fence and was quickly apprehended by Diddy’s security.
Police were called and Smalls was reportedly arrested for trespassing, though he was promptly released from custody.
A video obtained by TMZ appears to show the aspiring rapper shouting outside of the security gate.
In July of last year, Diddy announced that he had started working on his return to music. The Bad Boy Records founder tweeted that he was “making a classic”, with the project marking his first in over six years.
