Bretman Rock has made history as the first gay male to appear on the cover of Playboy, in the signature bunny ears and killer heels.
The 23-year-old social media star will grace the cover of the October 2021 digital edition of the magazine.
Rock proclaims: “I’m a BUNNY duh !!”
He follows in the footsteps of Kate Moss, Dolly Parton and Kylie Jenner in wearing the famous outfit on the cover.
Rock, who is Filipino-American and a native of Hawaii, rose to fame through youtube and social media.
He also had an MTV reality TV show called Following: Bretman Rock.
Speaking about the shoot, he said: “For Playboy to have a male on the cover is a huge deal for the LGBT community, for my brown people community and it’s all so surreal. A total ‘is this even f***ing happening right now?’ type of vibe. And I’m so pretty.”
Rock is the third man to appear solo on the magazine’s cover, following the late Hugh Heffner and musician and LGBT+ ally Bad Bunny, who graced the first digital cover of Playboy in 2020.
