Britney Spears Signs $15 Million Book Deal For Tell-All Memoir

Britney Spears has signed a book deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster for a memoir chronicling her life, career and family.

According to Page Six, the 40-year-old singer has signed a contract with Simon & Schuster for at least $15 million after a bidding war involving multiple publishers.

An unnamed source told the outlet that “the deal is one of the biggest of all time, behind the Obamas.” The former president and first lady signed a deal worth an estimated $65 million in 2017 to write multiple books for Penguin Random House.

The deal comes just a month after Britney was embroiled in public spat with her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, who also published a memoir that included personal information about the pop star.

Last month, Britney hinted at a tell-all after posting a photo of a typewriter next to a pile of pink roses on Instagram.

“Shall I start from THE BEGINNING???’” she captioned the post.
