Carole Baskin has insisted that she’s done all she can to track down her ex-husband Don Lewis, who mysteriously disappeared in 1997.
In an exclusive interview with TMZ, Baskin said that their is nothing more she could have done to help find her ex-husband Don Lewis, despite claims made in Tiger King 2 that she is “unwilling” to help.
“There is no one who has more to gain from solving the mystery of Don’s disappearance than I do because it would clear my name and stop the idiotic rumours,” she said.
“There is nothing that I know that is not either in the Sheriff’s files or in the diary I have published at SaveTheCats.org,” she added.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detective, Moises Garcia, who has continued to look into the disappearance of Lewis all these years later, claimed in Tiger King 2 that Baskin has been unwilling to help them out.
According to Baskin, the reason she hasn’t cooperated with the sheriff’s office is because of the advice of counsel, as she has nothing more to “contribute.”
