Chris Daughtry’s daughter has sadly been found dead at the age of 25.
The American Idol alum has postponed a number of shows after receiving the tragic news of Hannah’s death.
Chris took to social media to update fans.
“Due to the unexpected death of Chris and Deanna Daughtry’s daughter, Hannah, all currently scheduled shows for the coming week for Daughtry have been canceled or postponed,” the band’s post reads.

“The Daughtry family thanks you for your understanding and respectfully asks for privacy during this very difficult time.”
“Further details will be made available at a later date. The investigation into this tragic death is still ongoing.”
The details surrounding Hannah‘s death has not yet been made public, but TMZ report that sources connected to the family have told the publication that “detectives have told the family Hannah’s death was a homicide.”
TMZ also write that Hannah’s boyfriend has been arrested, but police have not disclosed why or if he is a person of interest in the case.
Her death remains under investigation.
