James Franco has finally addressed sexual misconduct allegations which began back in 2018.
The star, who paid $2.2 million in a sexual misconduct lawsuit back in June, has just broke his silence on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show podcast – claiming sex is a powerful drug.
The Telegraph reported that “Franco, 43, was accused of sexually exploitative behavior by five women, of whom four were his acting students”.
Adding that “Franco […] denied the #MeToo allegations when they first surfaced”.
When speaking on the podcast, the The Disaster Artist actor admitted to sleeping with students, claiming it “was wrong”.
“Franco said he had developed a sex addiction after he became sober from an alcohol addiction he developed at a young age” as reported by The Guardian.
The actor said “he has spoken out now as he doesn’t want ‘Seth or my brother or anyone to have to answer for him anymore’”.
This comes after long time co-star and friend Seth Rogan cut all ties to the actor earlier this year. You can read more about this here.
