Singer Kelly Clarkson has filed to legally change her name to Kelly Brianne amid her divorce from Brandon Blackstock.
According to US Weekly, the 39-year-old wrote in court documents filed on Monday, that she had “a desire” to go by her first name and middle names “because it more fully reflects who I am.”
A hearing is currently set on the matter for March 28.
Back in June 2020, Clarkson filed for divorce from Blackstock after nearly seven years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
While the pair ironed out the details regarding ownership of their Montana Ranch, Clarkson was legally declared single in September 2021.
