LeBron James And Isaiah Stewart Ejected From Game After Court Scuffle

LeBron James and Isaiah Stewart were ejected from Sunday night’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Detroit Pistons.

The players were ejected after James appeared to hit Stewart in the face during an on-court scuffle. Teammates were forced to restrain Stewart, who had a visibly bloody face, as he attempted to lunge at James.

Both players were removed from the court with 9:18 remaining on the clock. Despite the disruption, the Lakers ultimately secured a 121-116 victory of the Pistons.

According to ESPN, this latest incident marks James‘ second ejection in a 19-year-long career.

Commenting after the game, Lakers teammate Anthony Davis said: “Everyone in the league knows LeBron’s not a dirty guy. In fact, when he knew he hit him, as soon as he did it, he looked back at him like, ‘Oh, my bad. I didn’t try to do it.’”

Pistons coach Dwane Casey also responded, “It was a tough play with Isaiah. His eye got cracked all the way open, and he was upset for a reason. So, I don’t think James is a dirty player, but again, it got them going.”
