Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly has fired back at Richard Sherman after he said the quarterback was not NFL Hall of Fame worthy. You can read more about this here.
Stafford played himself into the HoF conversation after a huge performance in the Super Bowl saw the LA Rams clinch the title.
But Sherman took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the matter, believing the bar for the HoF is “incredibly low now”.
He specifically called on Stafford’s accolades, or lack thereof. Stafford’s wife, Kelly, decided to take a swipe of her own on Instagram.
Sharing a video of Stafford waving caption ‘Hi haters’, she tagged Sherman.

And while not directly saying his name, she did also post an Instagram story addressing the discussions surrounding the NFL HoF, regarding them redundant as Stafford is not finished playing just yet.
“Can y’all just let him enjoy this?!,” she wrote. “It went from Matthew can’t win, to Matthew can’t win against winning teams, to Matthew can’t win big games, to Matthew can’t win playoff games, to Matthew can’t win it all.”
“And now… the debate on the HOF? We shouldn’t be talking about the HOF because he isn’t done playing this game.”
She added: “If you don’t believe he is a HOFer.. I can’t wait for him to prove you wrong in his remaining years… just like he did IN ONE YEAR to everyone who said all the things listed above.
“So let’s table this talk until he actually retires? Thank you.”
