A permanent solution, however, could be found in the form of PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino.
It was initially thought that the Argentine could join at the end of the season, but reports now suggest that he would like to become United’s new manager now and is prepared to leave the Parisian club mid-season to do so.
According to football reporter Julien Laurens, it is Pochettino’s ‘dream’ to become United manager and he has big fans at the club.
After many years of United’s reported interest in the former Spurs manager, and vice versa, the English giants could finally get there man.
It would then pave the way for PSG to bring in Zinedine Zidane, who has many admirers at the Paris club.
