Prince Andrew has settled the sexual abuse lawsuit against him that was filed on August 9, 2021.
The legal documentation originally filed against the Duke of York cited battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress, which he categorically denies.
In new legal papers, Virginia Giuffre, the victim of Jeffrey Epstein‘s sexual abuse, says she has reached a settlement outside of the court. Giuffre claims that Andrew had sex with her 3 times when she was a minor, detailing that the alleged separate occasions took place in London, New York and the Virgin Islands.
Andrew‘s legal team are now saying that he intends to make a “substantial donation” to the Giuffre charity that supports victims’ rights. The Prince says in the new legal documentation that he “pledges to demonstrate his regret for his association with Epstein by supporting the fight against the evils of sex trafficking, and by supporting its victims.”
There are no detailed financials in the legal papers.
