Quentin Tarantino Sued By Miramax Over ‘Pulp Fiction’ NFTs

Director Quentin Tarantino is being sued by entertainment company Miramax over his plans to release Pulp Fiction NFTs.

Miramax, the studio which produced the hit film, have filed a lawsuit against Tarantino over his announced plans to release never-before seen content from 1994 classic as NFTs.

The director announced earlier this month that he would be auctioning off several exclusive uncut scenes from movie on the OpenSea NFT marketplace.

NFTs are cryptocurrency assets which prove ownership of a piece of digital content.

In the lawsuit, seen by The Hollywood Reporter, Miramax said: “Tarantino’s conduct has forced Miramax to bring this lawsuit against a valued collaborator in order to enforce, preserve, and protect its contractual and intellectual property rights relating to one of Miramax’s most iconic and valuable film properties.
