Ryan Reynolds Makes ‘Antiques Roadshow’ Debut

Ryan Reynolds makes his debut on the Antiques Roadshow in a promotional video for his latest picture, Red Notice.

Starring alongside Reynolds were Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot. Rawson Marshall Thurber directed the picture, which follows an FBI agent forced to partner with a criminal in order to catch the world’s most wanted thief.

Obviously in character as Nolan Booth, Reynolds sits down opposite the US host Lark E Mason. Presenting a key artefact from the film – the Cleopatra egg – Reynolds states that it is “not a family heirloom”.

“My family disowned me years ago – they don’t like me. But this is more of an heirloom that my good friend at the museum lent me.” He adds, “He’s not aware that he lent it to me.”

Explaining the origins of the item – which also serves to lay out the premise of the film – Mason describes Reynolds‘ co-star, Johnson, as “a very muscular, handsome, talented man.”

“Yeah. I am totally passing away here,” Reynolds replies, before pressing him for a valuation. “If we could clear up the complications of how you acquired it, this could sell for over $100,000,000 at auction,” said Mason.

“Wow! That is amazing. Hundred million dollars though? Wow. Oh boy.”

Red Notice is available to watch on Netflix now.
