It has been three years since season three of the hit show Stranger Things.
Now Netflix has revealed the time frame of when fans can expect the eagerly-anticipated fourth season.
Production initially suffered a delay in March 2020 as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic but has since resumed.
Stranger Things has dropped multiple teasers on their YouTube channel across the last six months, including their most recent: Title Tease.
The 54-second clip reveals the title of each episode, as well as an indication of the return date: Summer 2022.
Welcome to California shows Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown) adapting to life at school, counting down the days until Spring Break.
Along with the series regulars, Netflix has revealed new characters coming into season four.
These additions include Amybeth McNulty as Vickie, Myles Truitt as Patrick, Regina Ting Chen as Ms. Kelly and Grace Van Dien as Chrissy.
Season four will hopefully answer any remaining questions, especially if it could be the final one.
But for now, fans will just have to entertain theories while they countdown until summer 2022.
