Travis Scott and Drake are among the names included in the lawsuit against Astroworld festival after the tragedy where eight people lost their lives.
This represents one of three lawsuits which have been currently filled so far against Travis Scott after eight people aged 14-27 have lost their lives during his performance.
Attorney Ben Crump, whom will be representing the victims at Astroworld, has stated:
“We are hearing horrific accounts of the terror and helplessness people have experienced – the horror of a crushing crowd and the awful trauma of watching people die while trying unsuccesfully to save them.”
“We will be pursuing justice for all our clients who were harmed in this tragic and preventable event.”

Since the tragic event, Travis Scott has issued a statement saying :

The 30-year-old rapper also released a video on his Instagram story in which he stated :
“My fans really mean the world to me. I always just really want to leave them with a positive experience. Anytime I can make out what’s going on, I stop the show and help them get the help they need.”
No statement from Drake has been released as of yet.
