UEFA Women’s Champions League QFs Ties Set For March

The UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-finals have been set as the final eight stake their claim for European glory.

The draw for the business end of the competition went significantly smoother than the men’s, which resulted in a re-draw last week.

Reigning champions, FC Barcelona, will enjoy a two-leg tie against Spanish rivals Real Madrid; while their 2021 final opponents – Chelsea – will be watching from home having being knocked out on the last game of the group stages.

And it was Wolfsburg who handed the blow to Emma Hayes’ side, with the German’s eyeing a takedown of yet another English giant when they face Arsenal.

Lyon will go toe-to-toe with Juventus, while Paris Saint-Germain are set to lock horns with Bayern Munich.

The winner of Real v Barcelona will face Arsenal or Wolfsburg in the semi-final, with the winners of the other two ties will make up the second SF tie to decide who will play for the trophy.

Teams will play the first leg on March 22, before the return leg on March 30 to decide the final four.
