Vanessa Bryant must hand over medical records in relation to her claim of emotional distress.
Bryant is currently suing Los Angeles County after first responders allegedly took graphic photographs of her deceased husband, Kobe Bryant, and daughter, Gianna. The pair died in a tragic helicopter crash along with seven others on January 26, 2020.
Now, according to NBC News, a judge ruled on Monday that Bryant must turn over her medical records. The records should substantiate her claim of emotional distress.
Weeks earlier, a judge denied Los Angeles County’s request to compel Byrant and other victims’ family members to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. The Country claimed the evaluations would determine the level of emotional distress suffered but lawyers for the Plaintiffs accused them of bullying.
