Warner Bros. is developing a reboot of its 1992 action picture, Under Siege.
The original picture starred Steven Seagal as Casey Ryback – a former Navy SEAL who stands as the only line of defence against a group of terrorist mercenaries when they take over the US battleship, Missouri.
Starring opposite Seagal was Tommy Lee Jones, Gary Busey, Erika Eleniak, Damian Chapa, Colm Meaney and Raymond Cruz.
Now Deadline reports that Warner Bros is working on a remake based on a script by Umair Aleem. Also driving the project is director Timo Tjahjanto, who is currently working on a reboot for Train to Busan.
The Under Siege reboot will allegedly release on HBO Max.
