On Monday, January 3, 2022, Tristan announced he was, in fact, the father of Maralee’s newborn son.
He took to his Instagram stories to share two black screens with text written over them, stating: “Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols.
“I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.
“I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately,” he continued.
On another slide, Tristan added: “Khloe, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you.
“You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you.
“I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry,” he concluded.

Who is Maralee Nichols?
Maralee Nichols announced she and Tristan conceived their child on the NBA player’s 30th birthday back in March of 2021.
Tristan already has two children, with two different women: his daughter True with ex-girlfriend Khloe Kardashian, and his son Prince with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig.
According to Daily Mail, personal trainer Maralee Nichols is 31 years old.
Tristan claims to have only been intimate with Maralee on one occasion in March of 2021, on his 30th birthday in Texas.
Maralee countered his statement by disclosing that they allegedly began their affair up to five months prior to his Houston birthday party.
“Over the past couple of weeks, many inaccurate and false stories have been circulated about me,” Maralee told E! News at the time.
“I have not at any point released – nor have I directed anyone else to release – any information regarding Tristan Thompson or any litigation involving him.
“I have never spoken to any media outlet, nor have I leaked any information to anyone at any time. I am providing this statement because I feel I must defend my character.”
