Dexter makes his return to the small screen in the new 10-episode miniseries, Dexter: New Blood.
The original crime show enjoyed an eight-season run from 2006 to 2013, though its final season proved highly controversial and left many fans unsatisfied. Picking up almost 10 years after the events of season 8, New Blood rediscovers Dexter living under a new name in Upstate New York.
Helming the miniseries is Dexter showrunner, Clyde Phillips, and director Marcos Siega, with Michael C. Hall returning as the fan-favourite serial killer. Also staging a return is Jennifer Carpenter as Debra Morgan – Dexter’s deceased sister – and John Lithgow as Arthur Mitchell. They are joined by fellow castmates David Magidoff, Clancy Brown, Julia Jones, Johnny Sequoyah, Jack Alcott, and Alano Miller.
Dexter: New Blood premiered yesterday (November 7) at 9PM ET on Showtime, with new episodes arriving weekly. The show is currently available to stream on SHOWTIME Now in the US and NOW TV in the UK.
