The footage, which has since obtained more than 2.6million views, shows the TikTok user looking frustrated with the text overlay on the video reading: “Remembering the time my boss caught me eating expensive food again.”

The second clip is a screengrab of a message from her boss featuring an image from a security camera at her job.

TikToker @im.a.fridge.wtf is allegedly pictured in the image eating tiramisu in the restaurant, appearing to be the kitchen area.

The young woman’s boss — who seems to be saved in her phone as “Chef Tom” — shared the security footage from January 22, 2021, according to the date on the still image.

“STOP eating the tiramisu!!!” read Chef Tom’s follow-up text, to which @im.a.fridge.wtf replied: “It’s good tho.”

Chef Tom appeared to respond: “Come see me after your shift. I’m taking this out of your tips.”

Days after the TikTok creator shared the video, she commented on the footage: “It’s just a tik tok..

“I know what’s right and wrong :p.”

Thousands of people took to the comments section, with dozens supporting @im.a.fridge.wtf’s choice to eat food from the restaurant.

One user commented: “I’m sure they underpay you anyways! Just getting what was rightfully yours.”

Another wrote: “If you’re not stealing food from work… Do you really work there?”

“In all fairness I wouldn’t be able to resist a tiramisu either sis,” a third user said.

A fourth commented: “Literally anybody saying it’s stealing hasn’t worked in food.

“Most of it gets thrown out anyways. Glad y’all love wasting food.”

And a fifth user said: “tell chef tom he needs to calm down.”

Although many TikTokers appeared to be supportive of @im.a.fridge.wtf’s Tiramisu-eating habits, some denounced taking things for free at restaurants.

One user commented: “As someone who’s parents own a cafe these comments are super disappointing, a lot of these cafes and places would be family owned and you’re eating stuff that makes the profit and pays you wages.

“Frankly it’s just rude and disrespectful.”

Other users joked about how @im.a.fridge.wtf’s sent an 8ball Pool match request as a response, which is seen at the bottom of the text exchange between the worker and her boss.

Days after the TikTok creator shared the video, she commented on the footage: 'It’s just a tik tok.. I know what’s right and wrong :p'
