On this occasion, the 95-year-old monarch was joined by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their three children who were enjoying the sunny weather.
The pair are set to head to Jamaica in a matter of weeks as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee tour.
They were also accompanied by Princess Beatrice and her baby daughter Sienna – who is now five months old.
Meanwhile, Princess Eugenie, her husband Jack Brooksbank and their year-old son August, who live at Frogmore Cottage, were reportedly not at home on Sunday.
The get together comes as insiders say that the Queen is making a “good recovery” from her bout of coronavirus last week.
She was previously said to be experiencing “mild cold-like symptoms” as she carried out “light duties” from Windsor Castle.
The Queen is understood to be triple vaccinated but she had been on doctors’ order to rest since mid October, after cancelling a run of engagements and spending a night in hospital undergoing preliminary tests.
At the time, Buckingham Palace said in a statement: “Her Majesty is experiencing mild cold-like symptoms but expects to continue light duties at Windsor over the coming week.
“She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines.”
She is believed to have spent time with Charles on February 8, when he hosted an investiture at her Windsor Castle home.
He tested positive for Covid a few days late but has since recovered.
