The results of 2021 HSC examination have been released today, Sunday. After officially handing over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina after 11 pm, she announced the results by virtually joining. Later, Education Minister Dipu Moni gave details of the results at a press conference held at the International Mother Tongue Institute in Segunbagicha. This time under 9 general education boards only average pass rate in HSC examination is 95.56.
After reviewing the results of the students, it has been seen that this time the pass rate of the students in the HSC examination under 9 general education boards is 96.8%, which is higher than the average pass rate. On the other hand, the pass rate of students is 94.44 percent, which is lower than the average pass rate.
This time a total of 11 lakh 15 thousand 605 candidates took part under 9 general education boards. The students were also ahead in terms of participation. Of the total examinees, 5 lakh 64 thousand 324 were female students and the rest were male students. Out of the participating students, 10 lakh 8 thousand 242 have passed. Among them 5 lakh 45 thousand 529 female students and 5 lakh 20 thousand 613 male students.
On the other hand, under 9 general education boards, a total of 1 lakh 8 thousand 522 students got GPA-5, whose average number is between 80 to 100 in each subject. Among them 96 thousand 403 female students and 80 thousand 119 male students.
This is not the only time the students have done well. According to the statistics of the last few years, the students are leading in the pass rate. Experts say that the reason for making the students better is that the awareness among the families has increased more than before. Now girls are not seen with different eyes like before. There are also government initiatives to stop child marriage, as well as efforts to help students in various ways, including stipends. In comparison, the students are more careful in their studies.
