After coming to Bangladesh, Afghanistan got bad news

The Afghan team got big bad news after coming to Bangladesh.

Coronavirus has attacked the team. More than six members of the visiting fleet have been identified as corona positive.

A source in the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the information to the media.

According to the BCB, a 23-member contingent of the Afghan team arrived in Sylhet on Sunday and their corona was tested on the same day. On Monday, it was reported that more than six members of the fleet were affected by Corona. Field players are also among the victims. Among the victims is Indian physio Prashant Panchada of the team. Each of them has been kept in isolation.

The three-match ODI series will start on February 23 at the famous Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. The other two matches of the series will be played on February 25 and 26. Each match will start at 11 pm Bangladesh time.

The T20 series will start at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, known as the ‘Home of Cricket’. The two matches will be on March 3 and 5, at 3 pm Bangladesh time.
