Sports fans are welcome at the 413 Card Show in Chicopee

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP )- The 413 Card Show is back for its second year in a row at the Castle of Knights in Chicopee on Saturday.

According to a news release from the 413 Card Show, sports fans will be able to check out 110 tables of sports cards, memorabilia, Pokémon, card supplies, grading services, and more from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be dealers from Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and New York, each with their specialization in the hobby.

Some of the feature items at the event will include cards from modern to vintage, graded to raw, singles boxes to sealed wax, and more from sports such as baseball, football, basketball, hockey, pro wrestling, auto racing, Pokémon cards, and more.

“Our first show back in January was fun, we had over 50 tables and everyone who attended loved the show,” said Scott Greene, show co-promoter. “Unfortunately we got hit with a snowstorm that day and it definitely hindered attendance. This time, we’re primed for a big turnout and there’s a lot of buzz around the 413.”

Cedric Maxwell, Boston Celtics great and two-time NBA Champion, will be signing autographs from 11:00 a.m. to noon. Personal items can be signed for $24.95, or you can purchase Cedric’s items including rookie cards, mini basketballs, 8×10 photos, and more.

Several giveaways will take place at the event, such as the chance to win Red Sox tickets, Woosox and Thunderbirds tickets, tickets from the reminder, and other door prizes. Admission costs $2 and kids twelve and under get in for free. Parking is free for attendees.
