Bob Saget Died From Accidental Blow To The Head

The family of late comedian and actor Bob Saget have revealed that the star died from “trauma” after suffering an accidental head injury.

Saget was found dead by authorities in a Florida hotel room on January 9, the day after he had performed a stand-up comedy set in Jacksonville.

At the time of his death, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office noted no signs of fouls play or evidence of drug use had been found.

Now, in a statement shared by Saget’s family, authorities have officially confirmed that the Full House star died as a result of head trauma.

“They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved,” they wrote.

“As we continue to mourn together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all: to be kind to everyone, to let the people you love know you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter,” they added.

Saget was best known for his role as Danny Tanner in the popular 80s sitcom, Full House.

He also starred in its more recent Netflix sequel Fuller House.
