Dave Bautista joins the cast of M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming picture, Knock at the Cabin.
Deadline reports that Shyamalan will write and direct the new project, with Ashwin Rajan attached to produce through Blinding Edge Pictures. Also producing are Marc Bienstock and Steven Schneider.
The Universal film marks a continuation of Shyamalan’s partnership with the studio, which distributed the likes of Split, The Visit and Old.
Details on Bautista’s role in the film and its significance are yet to be revealed. Rising to fame through a successful wrestling career, Bautista launched into acting notoriety after portraying Drax the Destroyer in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.
His other notable work includes roles in Spectre, Blade Runner 2049 and Dune.
Knock at the Cabin is scheduled for release in 2023.
