Chris Larangeira, the husband of Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick, has officially filed for divorce.
According to The Sun, Larangeira filed for divorce in Monmouth County, New Jersey on January 20.
Citing “irreconcilable differences”, the news comes after Pivarnick filed for divorce in January 2021, though she ultimately changed her mind.
The couple married back in 2019 but rumours of problems within the relationship have persisted for years. Openly addressing some of their difficulties in an episode of MTV’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Pivarnick described her sex life with Larangeira as “nonexistent”.
She also admitted that the pair argued frequently: “I’m not the most perfect wife ever. I yell at him, I’ll belittle him sometimes. I feel like we’re both wrong.”
“But see how I’m admitting it? He won’t ever admit that he’s wrong.”
