Jake Paul Moving On From Tommy Fury Fight Wants A Bigger Opponent

Jake Paul has revealed that he is no longer interested in fighting professional boxer Tommy Fury as he wants a bigger opponent.

Fury was scheduled to fight Paul on December 18 but ultimately backed out of the fight as he had a broken rib and was suffering from a chest infection.

The boxer recently told Queensberry Promotions that he hopes to re-schedule his fight with Paul as soon as he is healthy again.

However, in a new interview with USA Today, Paul has revealed that he’s unlikely to fight Fury as he wants his next boxing match to be against someone “with a bigger name.”

“Most likely not Tommy. I kind of want someone with a bigger name,” he said.

“We’ll see how all the stars align, but I’m tired of carrying all these Pay-per-view buys by myself,” he added.

UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou recently said in an interview that he was extremely impressed with Paul’s boxing. Read more about this story here.
