Megan Thee Stallion has cancelled her upcoming show in Houston following the Travis Scott Astroworld tragedy on November 5.
The Houston born rapper is said to have cancelled her homecoming show ‘out of respect’ for the ten victims that sadly passed away.
“Houston is still healing and it’s important that our community be given the appropriate time to grieve.” As reported by Variety.
“The Dec. 3 concert was planned to commemorate the opening of 713 Musical Hall, a new performance venue in Houston.
“The concert was also intended as a celebration of Megan’s bachelor’s degree in health administration, which she will receive from Texas Southern University on Dec. 11″.
Over two hundred lawsuits have now been filed against Travis Scott in the wake of Astroworld. You can read more about this here.
