Olivia Rodrigo Makes Her NPR Tiny Desk Debut In A DMV

18-year-old Olivia Rodrigo has officially debuted on NPR’s Tiny Desk, performing a four-song setlist.

In a stroke of genius, her ‘home’ set takes place in a DMV; the place where you get your drivers license – which was ultimately the catalyst for her record-breaking song of the same name.

Her Tiny Desk performance kicks off with the second single from her debut album SOUR, upbeat smash good 4 u.

She then goes into her most recent single, and what she has described as her ‘current favourite’ off the album, traitor.

A completely stripped back version of her debut single, drivers license, features just Rodrigo’s vocals and her playing the piano with the band taking a backseat for the third number.

The Tiny Desk concert is concluded with a rendition of deja vu; which the teen describes as being about the frustration over relationships being recycled.
