Police were seen surrounding the home of Elizabeth Vargas after her ex-boyfriend allegedly barricaded himself inside.
According to TMZ, the Real Housewives of Orange County star reported her former beau to police on Tuesday, accusing him of extortion.
Authorities arrived at Vargas’ home in Newport Beach, California later that day, only for the aforementioned ex to roll up afterwards.
While Vargas was reportedly unharmed during the incident, her ex-boyfriend is alleged to have barricaded himself inside her home, resulting in a standoff with at least seven police officers.
He went eventually detained, though further details on his charges and Vargas’ claims of extortion have yet to be revealed.
Vargas debuted on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Orange Country during its 15th season, though she did not feature in season sixteen.
Her addition to the show followed the dismissal of former stars Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge.
