Skateboarder Josh Neuman Among Four Dead In Iceland Plane Crash

Skateboarder and social media star, Josh Neuman, was one of four fatalities in a plane crash in Iceland.

The 22-year-old created skateboarding content for almost 1.2 million YouTube subscribers.

He had been on the flight as part of a “project to create commercial content for the Belgian fashion brand Suspicious Antwerp,” according to Sky News.

Company sponsorship manager Tim Alings, skydiver and social media influencer Nicola Bellavia, and pilot Haraldur Diego were also killed in the crash.

The aircraft carrying the four men disappeared from radar on Thursday 3 February, prompting more than 1,000 search and rescue personnel to help locate the plane after it failed to send out a distress signal.

It was eventually located east of Reykjavik, in Iceland’s second largest lake, Lake Thingvallavatn. The bodies of the four passengers were recovered from almost 160ft below the surface.

“We are enormously distressed by the news and our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends,” a statement from Suspicious Antwerp read.

“We are in close contract with them as well as with the authorities, and we’re doing everything we can to assist them during these difficult times.”

Rest in peace Josh, Tim, Nicola and Haraldur.
