Thandiwe Newton joins Channing Tatum in Magic Mike’s Last Dance.
According to Deadline, the upcoming film, helmed by Steven Soderbergh, will premiere exclusively on HBO Max. Reid Carolin is penning the script and producing alongside Gregory Jacobs, Nick Wechsler, and Peter Kiernan.
Magic Mike’s Last Dance, which acts as a sequel to its predecessor Magic Mike XXL, was first announced in November. Further details on the picture are being kept under wraps.
Newton has featured in a number of high profile titles such as Mission: Impossible 2, The Pursuit of Happyness and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
She was also awarded an Emmy for her portrayal of Maeva Millay in HBO’s Westworld.
