Hawartz also brought Chelsea to the Club World Cup

In 2012, Chelsea played in the Club World Cup for the first time in their history. They lost in the final to a Brazilian club. After a 1-0 defeat to Corinthians, Chelsea had a chance to make history today. Chelsea won the FIFA Club World Cup for the first time, beating Palmeiras, another Brazilian club, in extra time.

Hawartz brought Chelsea to the Champions League on 29 May with a goal against Manchester City. Today, the Germans have also played a role in the history of the club in the United Arab Emirates. Havertz scored the winning goal in 118 minutes in a 1-1 draw at the scheduled time.

In the 7th minute, Chelsea fans started to give duo. Romelu Lukaku was leaving the field, but both were intended for coach Thomas Tuchel. In a 1-1 draw against Palmeiras in the Club World Cup final, fans did not like the decision to pick up the team’s main striker and goal scorer. Despite the need for a goal, the fans could not accept the coach’s 3-5-2 formation.

Tukhel brought Chelsea to the Champions League with the goal of defending the goal after managing the defense. He went his own way to bring another title to the club. Chelsea were able to keep the ball in the post only twice in the scheduled 90 minutes of play. In a 55 minutes. Hudson Odoi crossed from the left edge. Many jumped in the D-box. But no one got along with Lukaku. Chelsea went ahead with the goal of the Belgian striker.

Chelsea got the goal thanks to them, Tukhel picked up the two in the 6th minute. Palmeiras, however, equalized 13 minutes earlier. The ball flew into the box. Chelsea’s Brazilian defender Thiago Silva headed it back. The players of Palmeiras strongly appealed for a penalty but the referee did not respond. But the video assistant referee (VAR) asked him to change his mind. Rafael Vega equalized from the penalty spot.

The rest of the scheduled time has been more of a strategy game. Palmeiras has a solid defense against a strong opponent. As a result, Chelsea’s inside forwards Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner could not get into the box. As Lukaku was not on the field again, the goal could not be scored without crossing. On the contrary, Palmeiras was creating opportunities by attacking everyone. But the attacks were ruined because they could not give the ball through in time.

In extra time, however, Palmeiras has slipped into the open. Chelsea have attacked one after another. Meanwhile, in the 6-3-1 formation, their only focus was to stop Chelsea.

Drama again in 113 minutes. Azpiliketa’s shot was in the hands of Palmeiras. The referee did not give a penalty again. But VAR asked to change the decision again. Kai Hawartz was awarded the penalty. The German winger scored by sending the goalkeeper in the wrong direction. The goal in the 116th minute was not repaid by Palmeiras. Instead, Luan was shown a red card in the 128th minute with the help of VAR.
