Rotary Club works with student travel service group | Local News

The Paris Rotary Club recently heard about a West Tennessee nonprofit group that provides travel service learning opportunities to students and community members, primarily from rural and economically disadvantaged areas. Global Citizen Adventure Corps representatives Julie Hill (not seen) and Stacie Freeman (left) were introduced by Mark Archer, Rotary president-elect (right). The two academics, business leaders, and philanthropic entrepreneurs launched the corps less than two years ago and have already helped almost 100 individuals experience service abroad. They shared their mission and vision with the group and outlined ways in which the two organizations’ support of the community align.
