Carrie Bradshaw is joined by friends Charlotte and Miranda in HBO Max’s reboot of the famous Sex and The City franchise.
The latest trailer has just dropped and we are welcomed by new and familiar faces. This new chapter takes place eleven years after the feature film and follows the trio as they navigate life in their fifties.
Just recently Sarah Jessica Parker who plays Bradshaw graced the front-cover of Vogue.
Sharing this to Instagram, the star wrote:
“My daughters gasped and said ‘Mama, you are on the cover of Vogue?’”
“I share their astonishment. But also a massive thank you to Anna for having me back and the extraordinary team that gathered on that Sunday not long ago.
“We had it all! Hats, frocks massive and tiny, shoes, shoes, shoes, the streets of NYC, time with @frynaomifry, our guest on the @justlikethatmax Carrie set, and the talents of many. I’m honored.”
Parker discussed the upcoming reboot, speaking to Vogue around the public response to the three women being back on our screens.
“There’s so much misogynist chatter in response to us that would never. Happen. About. A. Man”.
“Everyone has something to say. ‘She has too many wrinkles, she doesn’t have enough wrinkles.’ It almost feels as if people don’t want us to be perfectly okay with where we are”.
