Andy Serkis Says He’s Keen To Direct a Third ‘Venom’ Film

Andy Serkis has revealed that he would be keen to direct a third Venom film.

Speaking to Metro, the actor and filmmaker, revealed that he’s open to working on another sequel for the MCU series.

“I mean, yeah, of course,” Serkis said when asked if he would direct a third Venom film. “It’s such a wonderful world to play in. And I’m sure there will be, I’m sure there will be.

Discussing Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which was released in October, Serkis said that he was glad the film managed to keep the humour of the original 2018 blockbuster.

“The whole thing about this movie was getting the tonal balance right, so that it never became self referential and in-jokey,” he said.

“Sometimes it can become a bit… where you actually stop caring about the characters because you know that the actors are enjoying themselves too much,” he added.
