Julia Fox has addressed reports that she copied Kim Kardashian’s style after she posted a photo of herself wearing a designer breastplate.
The 32-year-old actress came under fire from online critics earlier this week after she posted an old photo on Instagram from last year’s Halloween, where she wore a blue designer breastplate for a smurf inspired outfit.
The Uncut Gems star later shared a headline published by Page Six that read: “Julia Fox channels Kim Kardashian in high-fashion breastplate.”
In a now-deleted post responding to the report, Fox shared screenshot of the article to her Instagram story with the text:
“FYI I wore this on Halloween 2021 and I was supposed to be a slutty Smurf. I forgot to post it. PS. The Breast Plate is by @JacqueLabel.”
