Quentin Tarantino And Daniella Pick Expecting Second Child

Director Quentin Tarantino and his wife Daniella Pick are expecting their second child together.

The couple, who already share a one-year-old son named Leo, reportedly confirmed news of the second pregnancy to E! News.

An article by Yedioth Ahronoth suggests the baby will be born in just a few months.

Tarantino first met Pick, the daughter of Israeli singer Svika Pick, during his promotion of Inglourious Basterds in 2009.

They married at their Beverly Hill home in 2018, with plans to split their time between their two properties in LA and Tel Aviv. The Kill Bill director later said that the COVID-19 pandemic had stunted the couple’s plans and that they had been residing in Israel for the last two years.

Discussing the birth of their first child during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Tarantino revealed that the couple initially had trouble naming him.

“We almost didn’t name him [Leo] because people would assume that I named him after Leonardo DiCaprio,” he said. “There’s nothing wrong with that but I didn’t. He’s named after my wife’s grandfather, but also because, just in our hearts, he was our little lion.”

Tarantino also revealed that he was learning Hebrew by watching children’s television with his son in Israel.

“He can only say one word and that is ‘Abba’, which is the Hebrew word for Dada. And a third of the time he means me,” he said. “I’m actually learning a lot with Leo because he watches like these baby TV kind of things and it’s all in Hebrew. So I’m learning with him.”
