A sequel to Scream has been given the green light following the success of the recently-released fifth entry in the slasher franchise.
Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media have announced that a new scream film is in the works following the success of the most recent film in the franchise.
Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett will be returning to direct the new instalment, with James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick penning the script.
“We are tremendously grateful to the fans around the world who enthusiastically received our film. We can’t wait for audiences to see what Radio Silence, writers Jamie & Guy and Project X have in store for our Woodsboro family,” Spyglass and Paramount said in a statement to the The Hollywood Reporter.
