Tottenham Hotspur Preparing Bid To Host First Ever Overseas Super Bowl

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to further their partnership with the NFL by launching an ambitious bid to host the Super Bowl in 2026.

The Premier League club already have a contract worth £40 million that sees them host two NFL games a season at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium each year.

But now they’re preparing to take it to a new level as, according to The Daily Mail, they are hosting what would be the first-ever overseas Super Bowl.

With the next four years wrapped up, the earliest the NFL could bring the event to London would be in 2026.

The NFL has already announced that it is expanding its status in Europe, taking a season-regular game to Germany. You can read more about this here.

As Spurs look to solidify themselves as one of the biggest footballing outfits, specifically in the US, hosting such an event would go a long way in doing so.

For now, though, the London club are looking to secure an extension on their current blockbuster deal.
