How many times has Jerry Lewis been married?
Prior to Lewis’ death, he was married twice.
His first marriage lasted from 1944 to 1980 and was to singer and actress Patti Palmer.
While together the former couple welcomed six children together including Gary, 75, Ronald, 72, Scott, 66, Christopher, 64, Anthony, 62, and Joseph, who passed away in 2009.
Following his divorce from Palmer, he then remarried actress SanDee Pitnick in 1983.
The two were married up until his passing.

What was Jerry Lewis’ cause of death?
Lewis was born March 16, 1926, and passed away on August 20, 2017, at the age of 91.
“He had complete autonomy over his movies,” film critic and historian Leonard Maltin said at the time, via the Observer.
“He was such a big box office star that Paramount gave him carte blanche and he delivered the goods for them. He was also a great student of comedy who befriended Stan Laurel of Laurel and Hardy, and got to spend time with Charlie Chaplin, so he knew comedy inside out.”
At the time of his passing, he was in his Las Vegas, Nevada home, and the cause was later revealed as end-stage cardiac disease and peripheral artery disease.

Who is SanDee Pitnick?
Aside from her marriage to Lewis, Pitnick is famously known for her career in the entertainment industry.
Over the years, she has been seen in a number of productions including the 1980 film, Hardly Working.
Pitnick has also been seen in multiple Jerry Lewis productions including the 2021 TV series documentary Autopsy: The Last Hours of, and the 2006 TV movie documentary, Jerry Lewis – König der Komödianten.
